2. JOB SUMMARY
- Effectively address software requirements of the Bank pertaining to CTS/ AML/ ALM/ Treasury/ Delivery management/ FTP either through development of in-house software or through customization of external software and its subsequent testing, implementation and updation.
- Plan and finalize the new IT projects/initiatives based on business requirement, work closely with project delivery team for presenting project proposal to departments/National Leadership Team and seek approval for implementation. Design and prepare broad implementation plans for approved projects
- Ensure adherence to budget of the projects
- Provide technical expertise to the application development and testing team
- Responsible for developing and mentoring a strong software team under enterprise applications.
- Plays key role in vendor management and service delivery.
- Ensure data confidentiality of the business applications under purview
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business
- Manage change requests for different systems: Guide the team of business analysts in understanding the business requirement and ensure end to end support in development & maintenance of Enterprise applications at Ujjivan
- Adhere to budget on development of software/projects
- Responsible for addressing software requirements from Application & Program Management Head and ensure implementation of the software seamlessly
- Ensure day-to-day support to the business by maintaining high availability of the systems and resources
- Monitor the implementation, maintenance and support for systems related to enterprise applications.
- Customer
- Adherence to client (internal) deliverables timelines
- Manage user experience to ensure client's satisfaction
- Handle escalation related to application and provide prompt resolution
- Guarantee confidential treatment of all the information gathered in various business applications and demonstrate the highest order of integrity as per the code of conduct of the organization
- Internal process
- Under enterprise applications, manage day to day uptime of IT operations, implementation of change as per client/user requirements
- Ensure system uptime for first 3 months; provide day to day support to the business by maintaining availability of systems and resources
- Lead the entire process of customization of external software to meet business requirements where development of in house software is not feasible
- Preparation of Business Requirement Document (BRD) & Feature Specification Document (FSD) accurately in consultation with Project Delivery Lead
- Oversee the development/customization of software by the vendor to ensure adherence to Ujjivan's requirements and project timelines
- Oversee the execution of the test cases and documentation of necessary user manuals
- Provide necessary support to client (internal) by following-up with concerned external/internal service providers, periodically
- Manage necessary enhancement/corrections in the Business system including CBS and other delivery channels that come under enterprise applications
- Documentation of progress and ensure data privacy
