“Rising Stars Mobile India Private Limited, (RSMIPL) a Foxconn Technology Group Company, was established in 2015 at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, India with the view of catering to the growing Mobile Phone market in India. With the customer demand growing, RSMIPL expanded its manufacturing facility at Sungavachatram and Sriperumudur near Chennai, India in 2017 with additional capacity. RSMIPL today employs nearly 25000 employees of which about 90% are women.

These world class manufacturing facilities are one of the largest in the region and the manufacturing and quality process that have been implemented are considered by the industry to be among the best. These facilities, collectively, in a short period of time, have expanded its capabilities to manufacturing of casings, mechanics & components, PCBA and final assembly of mobile devices. RSMIPL is expanding its business operations in India and it requires “ BE Fresher” for one of its Chennai Operation (Work Location : Sunguvarchatram)


Position : Graduate Engineer Trainee
Qualification : BE or B Tech
Discipline : EEE/ECE/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation & Engineering
Passout Batch : 2021
Aggregate : 70% & Above
Training & Probation : 12 Months (Training) & 6 Months (Probation) After Confirmation
Annual Cost To Company: Rs.2.03 Lakhs

Job Description for Production

1. To Conduct Shift Start Meeting for 10 minutes at start of each shift
2. Ensure that the trained and certified operators are working in the stages
3. Mark the attendance & Start-up the Line
4. Start the 5s activities (1s, 2s and 3s) in all stages before start of the shift
5. Ensure operators follow the SOP for production process throughout the shift
6. Ensure Do’s & Don’ts are adhered by the operators properly twice in a shift
7. Monitor and reduce VI failures on hourly basis
8. Review with the line key operators on hourly basis about the line status
9. Coordinate with yield improvement technician and improve yield on hourly basis
10. Coordinate with the supporting teams and pull the support, if line is stopped

Job Description for Test Maintenance

1. To achieve Line/Shift NTF, MFR, Down Time Targets assigned & Spares consumption accountability
2. Need to work to keep world class 5S and Environment Health & Safety in their Line/shift.
3. To fulfil the Team needs should do daily basis Line Equipment’s & Test Process Verification as per checklists.
4. To Achieve Team KPI should Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability
5. Continuous Improvement of reduction of down time, NFR, NTF & cost reduction and safety issues by implementing Kaizens,
6. Should involve in Product Changeover process, supporting to line movement or aligning Equipment based on layout changes,
7. Have to work for scheduled Preventive maintenance of test equipment.
8. Supporting New Product Equipment Installation and Configuration activities.
9. To Understand and work in accordance with the company’s Quality & EHS requirement

Job Description for FAP Maintenance

1. Equipment management - Breakdown &Preventive maintenance to improve productivity
2. Yield Improvement - Reduction of failures
3. Scrap Reduction - equipment and process scrap reduction
4. Continuous Improvements - Kaizens
5. Specific task like each person will be trained and owned in specific equipment to manage

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Good in verbal and written communication
2. Should be technically sound
3. Pleasing Personality
4. Well versed knowledge on MS Office (Especially, Excel & PowerPoint)
5. Quick Learner
6. Should be a team player.
