JOB DESCRIPTION
Passionate, motivated and self-driven support engineers with 2 to 5 years of experience are required for a Multinational project
PRIMARY SKILL SET :
Very good understanding of Level two support activities like housekeeping, monitoring, reporting, deployment etc.
Expertise in Unix like operating systems.
Very good understanding of shell scripting, schedulers and cronjobs.
Understanding of file handling by SFTP and SCP.
Practical knowledge of writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures preferably with MySQL DB.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills - should be able to fix platform & application issues
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and implement those.
Good knowledge of Splunk queries, reports, alerts and dashboards.
Working knowledge of AWS infrastructure and deploying code packages.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
OPTIONAL SKILL:
Experience of working in health care and insurance sector is an advantage.
Working knowledge of liaising with Level one team is an advantage
Roles & Responsibilities
As a support engineer you will interact with clients, level one support team, development team to take care of daily business activities.
You will analyse and solve issues and provide RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
You will set up alerts, reports and do housekeeping for platform and application
You will deploy code to production environment and monitor.
You will raise tickets for development team whenever required to fix an issue.
Education
UG :B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, Computers, Any Graduate in Any Specialization
PG :Any Postgraduate in Any Specialization, M.Tech in Computers, Any Specialization, MCA in Computers
Doctorate :Any Doctorate in Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required
