Associate – Human Resource Consultant, Mumbai
This role supports a wide range of human resources activities and transactions. Ensures efficiency of operations, technology and transaction processes. May establish standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administration of human resource programs. He/she works with leadership to understand the business environment and to determine, develop and execute innovative solutions to address work priorities. He/she would also work with HR leadership, functional managers and cross border HR teams, enabling them to guide employees, facilitate engagement, people programs and activities. This role may be reassigned to support different functions from time to time to meet the changing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide centralized operational support for a range of human resource activities and transactions for assigned businesses, including
Working with various internal data sources and tools (e.g.
Supporting internal business clients and HR Business Partners with proactive insights for strategic HR solutions and program designs
Partner with various internal HR teams, e.g., Recruiting, Talent Management,
Provide timely support/ feedback to various HR counterparts on implementation and streamlining of HR processes/practices in the physical absence of support teams in Mumbai. E.g. Recruiting, New Hire Orientation Program, Exit formalities etc.
Actively engage with employees, leadership and HR teams to support India/ APAC/ Global initiatives (e.g. ECP, Diversity initiatives, People Manager initiatives, EOS working groups
Provide excellent customer service to their internal clients (both locally and globally), which includes providing them with accurate information and / or sound advice while working to problem solve with them as well responding to ad hoc client questions for the supported functions and Mumbai Leadership.
Work in partnership with stakeholders to identify the people implications of strategic and business plans.
Promote new ways of working and agree appropriate interventions to maximize opportunities, support change and manage risk.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in working closely with business with an ability to interact with all levels of employees in a matrix environment
Proven track record of managing relationships across geographies; ability to collaborate to build deep relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational lines
Experience in supporting diverse stakeholders’ group
Strong understanding of key HR functional areas including HR Operations, local regulatory compliance, talent practices, compensation and benefits
Exposure to Learning and organizational development
Prior experience or exposure to
Proficiency in MS Excel
Post Graduate degree in HR with 5 to 7 years of prior relevant work experience
