Brief description :
Essential Job Functions:
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Work with limited guidance to analyze mapping issues from the ETL process and source data integrity
Working knowledge of data mapping, SQL coding, ETL, metadata and electronic report development
Work collaboratively with cross-functional areas

Responsibilities:
Identify and correct exceptions, inconsistencies, tolerance levels, business rules, and valid output
Continuously enhance data quality monitoring based on requirements gathered from business units
Present findings of complex data queries necessary to fully understand data quality issue/opportunities
Collaborates with business stakeholders to develop and track metrics necessary to monitor data quality
Log data quality issues on the data quality log and tracking the issue to resolution.
Generate summarized data quality and data warehouse dashboards using Business Intelligence reporting
Validate the data from the host source to the target locations to ensure the ETL specs have been implemented as documented.
Validate post-production changes and ensure tested changes are moved properly to production
Develop and maintain a working relationship with various information support teams to leverage data access and analysis
Work with several cross-functional areas, IT, DBAs, ETL, Data Modeling, BI Administration, Reporting, and data users to research and resolve issues
Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, MIS, Statistics, related field or equivalent work experience required
2+ years working with Data Quality processes and teams
2+ years’ experience with querying and analyzing data
2+ years SQL experience required
Intermediate SQL writing skills required
Intermediate knowledge of ETL tools
Aptitude for research and high standards for ensuring quality data for the organization
Strong analytical and database reporting skills required
Strong communication skills ensuring that users are kept updated on the status of their issues
Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required
