Roles & responsibilities:-
· An expert in walking the talk who can share his/her experiences with field sales force about providing insights on their sales approach; conduct sales force GAP analysis, suggest and ensure productivity and develop a zeal and passion in the field sales in being flexible, consultative services to our business partners (distributors, dealers)
· Should have an eagle’s eyesight in being agile and responsive to make sales force or distributors adapt to newer market situation by reinforcing newer training methodologies like real time role plays, conducting field sales guidance.
· Collaborate with ASM & State head to develop a diagnostic view of current sales force & distributor’s capabilities, drive training interventions that has direct impact on sales productivity by using modern sales techniques like consultative selling, importance of product lines, FAB Analysis, competition analysis, customer relationship management, etc.
· Conduct on-boarding induction and orientations session for new hires in coordination with the HR department. Hand hold the new hires initially for the first month on the challenges, they face on the job.
· Develop and implement a MIS that can ensure the effectiveness of training imparted by pre and post evaluation that clearly reflects on the productivity enhancement of the sales force. Generate results and drive rewards & recognition programs to the top performers and top improvers.
· Develop and implement 30-60-90 days sales plan & training interventions which acts a s a personal value proposition to field sales force/distributors which can explain the measurable targets for their first three months/thereafter on the job and can demonstrate their commitment to personal accountability in coordination with L&D head, ASM, RSM and State Head respectively
· Adopt and utilize the GSPL mindset which is a business where everyone is committed to the growth of our business, to deeply value our customers, to empower our people and to embrace change and challenge the status quo.
· Nurture and prosper a high-performance field sales /distributors team by ensuring optimum level of training programs that yield desired sales results.
· Advance one’s own professional and technical knowledge by attending sales training programs / workshops and other educational training and through relevant industry publications.
Education & Experience Requirements
· Graduate in any discipline. Sales Certified Professional an added advantage
· Track record of similar experience of at least 3 to 4 years.
