Job Description:
Develop, implement and improve quality management system and plans to ensure that the company’s products are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations, including regulatory requirements so as to contribute to the company’s annual business plan and long term growth.
Ensure incoming materials, in-process and all finished products meet specified requirements.
Ensure that customer complaints are investigated and resolved with the necessary corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure quality in the initial start-up of new or modified product manufacturing.
Update and keep the Vice-President informed on quality issues.
Serve as Quality Management Representative for the company with respect to ISO 22000:2018
Formulate and recommend quality policy and strategy to executive management.
Monitor and review quality performance against company’s set objectives and take necessary action to advise process owners to strive for improvements.
Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation.
Establish clearly defined quality standards and methods for process owners to apply.
Plan and manage departmental resources and activities in accordance with approved budgets and timescales to contribute to company’s profitability.
Manage departmental performance against agreed targets.
Should have knowledge & hands on quality test methods like – pH, Conductivity, Transmittance, Viscosity, AAS & Microbial test methods.
Should have knowledge about IP, BP, JP, USP, EP etc & Face Audits.
Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level.
