Introduction
Role Summary
WSP and wishes to recruit a CAD Technician to join ‘UK CRC Highways & Drainage’ team in Bengaluru which provides detailed highway and drainage designs for both public and private infrastructure.


Responsibilities
The successful candidate’s role will be as CAD Technician within the UK CRC Highways & Drainage team in our Bengaluru office producing detailed drawings of highway, drainage or development infrastructure projects a for various UK projects including residential, industrial, commercial, transport, water, retail, health and education projects. You will be expected to be active on a number of projects at any given time.

Requirements

• Mandatory Skills 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software. 
• Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings
• Must be well versed in the preparation of detailed highway or drainage design drawings. 
• Good English communication skills. 
• Desired Skills 
• Knowledge of Civil3D
• UK project experience and knowledge of UK design standards is advantageous

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Engineering in a relevant field with at least 4 years of relevant experience with a consultancy or developer
