Introduction
Role Summary

• WSP and wishes to recruit a CAD Technician to join ‘UK CRC Highways & Drainage’ team in Bengaluru which provides detailed highway and drainage designs for both public and private infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate’s role will be as CAD Technician within the UK CRC Highways & Drainage team in our Bengaluru office producing detailed drawings of highway, drainage or development infrastructure projects a for various UK projects including residential, industrial, commercial, transport, water, retail, health and education projects. You will be expected to be active on a number of projects at any given time.

Requirements
Mandatory Skills 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software. 
• Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings
• Must be well versed in the preparation of detailed highway or drainage design drawings. 
• Good English communication skills. 
• Desired Skills 
• Knowledge of Civil3D
• UK project experience and knowledge of UK design standards is advantageous

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Engineering in a relevant field with at least 4 years of relevant experience with a consultancy or developer
