• We are looking for a senior software professional with minimum 6-10 years of experience in the capacity of Engineering Lead who will
•  Effectively lead both front to back end development and deployment teams in close interaction with business functions and product development
• Spearhead the development of a cutting edge web platform for organizing the retail construction markets in India and other similar markets.

Location: Trivandrum

Job Description

• Manage end to end delivery of Ecommerce projects, finalizing the UI design and freezing the platform choice
• Work with the founders to conceptualize and freeze the engineering roadmap for the product based on company strategy &vision
• Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
• Technically able to step in with solutions for the projects and participate in proposals if needed.
• Able to balance customer satisfaction, organization goals and team's growth.
• Building a technology team and leading them to develop and manage,
• cutting edge systems to enable graphic visualizations of the house as per selected materials
• e-commerce platform including various nuances like dynamic calculation of transportation costs, taxation costs, billing etc.
• building a robust backend to enable smooth procurement and transport of materials, streamlined contractor-tie ups and execution on ground
• Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
• Inculcate a culture of innovation and operational efficiency in the team

Preferred skills

Candidate Profile:  

• BE / B. Tech in Computer Science/IT from premier institutes and/or good previous experience in internet products deployment and maintenance
• Technically sound in web development suite (PHP, PHTML, JS, MySQL etc.) with exposure to cloud integration
• Prior experience in taking a business concept online by interacting with the business stakeholder.
• Excellent stakeholder management and obsession with data and its accuracy.
• Prior experience in handling development and testing team sizes of at least 10 people and mentoring them.
• Should be able to identify achievable solutions to business problems and lead team to deliver it within strict timelines.
• Strong results driven personality with a high level of enthusiasm, energy and confidence.
• Desirable - Ecommerce development or Exposure to E-commerce suites like Magneto would be a big plus.
