Senior Test Engineer (2-6 Years)

Job Responsibilities
Knowledge of various testing techniques and the ability to use them in practice
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Intermediate programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, JavaScript / TypeScript, Python
Hands-on experience in frontend, API and/or database test automation: Selenium, Cypress, Serenity BDD, REST API testing, Cucumber
Experience with defect tracking/management tools such as JIRA.
Demonstrated experience with industry standard Quality Assurance best practices for Agile and Iterative SDLCs, testing methodologies, implementation, and deployment activities.
Experience in every-day use of version control system (TFS, git)
Experience in testing in a continuous integration environment Jenkins/TeamCity, Maven
Basic knowledge of SQL
Working experience in creating test documentation (Test Plan, test report, basic test metrics)
Experience in working with requirements
As a consultant, ability to effectively cooperate with the client and/or end users
Fluent English in speech and writing (frequent communication with English-speaking clients)

Preferred skills

Experience in performing performance tests using dedicated tools (e.g. Jmeter)
Experience in performing usability and/or security tests
Experience in mobile testing, cloud migration testing or data integrity testing

Brief description :
3-5 years of Experience in Banking and Automation.
Banking experience who are having strong knowledge in Core Banking.
Minimum Banking experience – 3+ years
Must have Core Banking Experience
Experience on LOS (Loan Origination System)/Payments/Cards, Accounts, CASA/Channels.
Experience on Trade Finance & Islamic Banking will be an added advantage.
Experience in preparing test strategy plans, test proposals, effort estimation, test artifacts, test reports.
 
Preferred skills
Experience planned and organized approach towards work, familiarity with tools, concepts, processes, and methodologies of quality management.
Well-versed with all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Experience in preparing test strategy plans, test artifacts and reporting.
Hands-on experience in preparing functional test cases and execution for SIT and UAT phases.
Experience in maintaining test metrics and bug statistics and reports.
Experience with any of the mainstream defect tracking tools.
Hand-on experience in automation framework creation with sound knowledge in automation concepts.
Additional responsibilities include role of On-site co-coordinator for test team and managing the routine status updates.
Experience in handling testing team and maintaining the required technical competency in the team required for the project.
