Job Duties and Responsibilities
Designing of scalable solutions to store and retrieve high volume of data on cloud
Leading cross functional projects
Design and build technical processes
Train, develop and supervise data engineers
Oversee design and delivery of projects, manage processes and people responsible for project delivery
Architecting technical solutions related to data pipelines implementation and migration project
Deliver project and customer success by meeting deadlines, managing expectations and by delivering good quality solutions
Leading and managing strong technical teams
Work on migrating on-prem data warehouses to cloud platform
Assist in development of reusable code and accelerators development
Training and mentoring other members in the team
Open to learn new technologies in a short duration

Job Location:
Pune

Required Skills and Experience
12-15 years of experience
Advance SQL knowledge and experience of working with a variety of databases
Hands-on experience in working with programming languages such as Python/Java/Scala
Working experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, NoSQL databases
Experience with AWS/GCP cloud deployment models
Experience on working in cloud data migration projects
Working experience in one of the cloud platform GCP/AWS/Azure is must
Working experience with Big Query/ Snowflake/Redshift (at least one of them)
Strong ability to plan and manage processes, people and projects simultaneously
Experience of developing data pipelines using tools such as Spark, Python, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory
Dynamic who demonstrates a very positive attitude
Strong Analytical and Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education
Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
