Collection Officer - Gold Loans - Bajaj Finance Limited

Location: Tirunelveli

Business/Function : Collections

Band : E01

Reports to : Business Head - Collection

Job Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • To achieve collection targets of the Respective Branch assigned, ensuring meeting PI Targets.
  • Meeting the Target on Cost of Collections. Ensuring meeting PI Targets within cost limit specified on monthly basis.
  • Ensuring legal guidelines are complied for entire collection structure in letter and sprits.
  • Ensure that the collection agencies and executives adhere to the legal guidelines provided by the law in force.
  • Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct.
  • Continuously monitoring collection agencies and collection executives to identify fraudulent practices and ensure that no loss is incurred due to such activities.

Required Qualifications
  • People Management skills.
  • Demonstrated success & achievement orientation. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Strong bias for action & driving results in a high performance environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead from the front. 
  • Excellent relationship skills. 
  • Affirmative in nature, Strong Leadership Skills, Clarity of thought and perseverance..
  • Exceptionally high motivational levels and needs to be a self starter.
  • Working knowledge of computers.

-with respect to the geographical area, 

exploring new markets and in allocating resources to most profitable opportunities.

Identifying the need of sales training, analyzing changing market trends, channel deployment etc.
-Also giving feedback & suggestions to the RSM
.
Ensure implementation of promotional plans & contests and suggesting new and
-innovating promotion plan for the area of work.

Recruiting and Retaining high performers.

Ensuring highest levels of employee relationship, motivation & engagement
-to drive results & high levels of employee satisfaction

Effectively engage Operations & Risk teams to understand and contribute to
-overall processes & profitability across locations.

Team management & Grooming of the team to achieve their respective targets

Managing the Delinquency of the business sourced to ensure health of portfolio.

Manage the Distribution through Dealer relations and servicing the Dealers,

-and their concerns in an appropriate manner
