Automotive BIW Sheet Metal Structures & Closures Relevant BIW Exp: Min 4 – Max 10 years Job location: Chennai Qualification: BE / B Tech (Mech/Prod/Auto/Mfg) Job Role and Responsibility: Working on passenger car BIW Sheetmetal Structures & Closures for New product development/Engineering change management. Design of BIW systems which includes inner & outer panels of A, B, C pillars, Doors (Closures), Hood, Tail gate/Deck/Trunk Lid, Body Side, under body components, Front end module, Roof panel, Fenders, Sash brackets, Supporting brackets etc. Developing B & C surface from Class A surface and designing required flange, attachment features, welding features. DPA (Digital pre assembly) checks on packaging components. Ongoing Product Development/Engineering Change Management: Working on OEM Release process which includes design change and assembly level updates checking Drawings (GD&T and Engineering CAD and Drafting Standard)) per standards. 1. 2 - 5 Years of experience in body in white and closures design.

2.Knowledge of part forming/manufacturability and assembling. Knowledge of part design, sheet metal and surfacing in Aluminum.

3.Good communication.
Skill Requirements: 1) UG NX 2) Team center 3) Designing of sheet metal parts.
