Job Description:

Position: SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER (Exp- 2- 8 yrs.)

Basic Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical)/ DME with first class (minimum 60%of marks).

Overall work experience: 2- 6 years with BE / 4 to 8 years with DME in the field of Heavy Equipment or Automotive Engine Design / Agricultural Equipment design

Role-  Casting/ Surfacing/ Sheet metal/ Plastics 

CAD Tool Knowledge: Hands on experience with Pro-E or Creo

Technical skills: 

• Should have worked on Concept and Detail design having experience in surfacing, casting, plastics or Sheet metal parts.
• Should be familiar with assembly sequences, large assembly management.
• Exposure to Heavy engineering design standards and automotive components
• Good understanding and reading complex drawings
• Execution experience of Wind-chill PDM.
• Working knowledge on GD&T with ASME Y 14.5 standards.
• Independent work executor with little support

Role-  Hydraulics and Sheet metal

CAD Tool Knowledge: Hands on experience with Pro-E or Creo 

• Pro-piping & Terminologies Hoses and tube routing, drawings, Line stock, Environments, Bend table, etc.
• Handling of Large assemblies. 
• Sheet metal.
• Modelling and detailing
• Hydraulic domain Fittings, Connectors, Control valves / Manifolds, Cylinders, etc.
• Fundamentals of Hydraulics Hydraulic layouts, schematics, etc.
• Good understanding and reading complex drawings.
• Good knowledge of Sheet Metal.
• Execution experience of Wind-chill PDM.

Role-  PRO- Cabling and CHS (Cable Harness Schematics)

• CHS for creation of Logic, Integrator Planes and Harness Drawings
• 3D Routing and Harness Drawing creation using Pro Cabling. In creo
• Handling of large assemblies 
• Harness manufacturing experience.
• Very good understanding of schematics.
• Very good knowledge of harness installation process and quality review process.
• Good knowledge of Sheet Metal.

Role-  Assembly Process Planning Engineer:

Job Profile: 

• Manufacturing Design activities and Assembly Process planning 
• Virtual Build activities like Creation of assembly process sequence, Graphical sequence of events, DFM
• Create methods sheets (Work Planner, SOP, SOE (Sequence of Event ) and Work Instructions document creation for operator)
• Virtual Manufacturing, Line Design, Work/Time estimates, ECM support.

Technical skills in: 

• Industrial engineering
• Computer Aided design 
• Shop floor experience in process planning and design
• Virtual Manufacturing
• Line Design, facility layout, material presentation and replenishment strategies
• Time Study, Time element assignment, MOST Study
• Knowledge of tooling and material logistics
• Engineering Change management (ECM) support, Routing etc.
• Added advantage of having manufacturing process knowledge of Agricultural/Construction and Forestry/ Engine/Harvester products
• Working experience on various tools like:
• Vis Pro /Mockup, CreO, AutoCAD, Factory CAD, Any 3D software knowledge could be added advantage.

Role-  Tool Fixture Design

• Design of Fixtures for Welding, Machining and Assembly
• Design of Lifting Devices, Gauges, Rack and Kits as per the process and product design requirements
• Concepts development, design, modeling & detailing for Tools, Fixtures, Gauges and Rack
• Conversion of 2D drawings (Design & manufacturing drawings) to 3D models for Tools, Fixtures and Gauges
• Modify the design for tooling as per provided feedback
• Prepare manufacturing drawing of designed tool
• Applies knowledge of GD&T as well as manufacturing to ensure designed tools are function & manufacturable.
• Perform necessary design calculation where needed
• Review of fixture concepts & manufacturing prints
• Development of suitable containers for Parts Containerization
• Shipping configuration

Technical Skills & Knowledge 

• Well versed with Creo 2.0 or Pro-E
• Good understanding of tool design fundamentals
• Manufacturing knowledge of tool & fixture 
• Desired experience 2- 8 years all in tool fixture design & manufacturing. 
• Qualification BE Mechanical, Diploma in Tool & Die making or PG tool design would be preferred qualification

Role-  Quality

• Exposure to PPAP reviews, Moderate to advanced Knowledge of all the PPAP documents
• GD&T Moderate knowledge
• Experience with Computers/ excel
• Should have experience of designing reports, executing them and delivering them.
• Should be able to create complex product reports templates as per requirement
• Should be able to perform quality check for the reports and details done by peer for correctness
• Should have expert knowledge about basics of the FPY, Scrap terminologies and should be able to suggest better ways for executing reports
• Should be able to create macros, programs for planning reports
• Should be able to identify the best practices that need to be used for execution of projects
• Should be able to plan resources for reports of a particular unit and ensure deliveries

Role- Fabrication / CNC Programming

Job Profile: 

• 3 to 6 yrs of Exp with Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
• Sheet metal manufacturing shop floor experience. ProE Wildfire modeling and detailing experience.
• Execute sheetmetal activities in sheetmetal virtual manufacturing: Check Gage Modeling, Fab OMS, Laser and Bend programming, Laser Nesting, SAP.
• Basics of: machining process and other manufacturing processes, CNC Programming, Industrial engineering concepts, Pro-E, AutoCAD, CAM, Pro-NC, and Vericut.

Technical skills 

• Experience in sheet metal laser cutting.
• Lantek ( Nesting software)
• Fabrication and Welding Process Knowledge.
• Experience in laser part programming and nesting. Preferably Lantek.
• Good Knowledge in sheet metal processes like press brake bending, CNC punching and forming.
• Fluent communication skills.

Role- Machining

• Experience in Machining area
• Experience in CNC Programming
• Knowledge of Cutting Tools
• Experience in Cad CAM software
• Experience in E tools like AutoCAD, CREO, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in Industrial engineering

Role- Weld

• Execute weld manufacturing project activities in virtual manufacturing.Weld-OMS (OMS for welding and loading operations creation based on inputs provided)
• Weld-Ergo analysis : Ergo analysis of weld manufacturing process as per inputs provided
• Weld SOE- Writing welding SOE in wplanner as per sequence provided and time element assignment (Client Weld data application)
