Job Description
Intern – EDA/CAD Services

We are looking for fresh graduates to work in a team for providing VLSI design EDA/CAD methodology services to several customers in a hosted cloud environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide and maintain a CAD environment for several VLSI design customers
Set up project environments and verify design flow functionality
Debug problems with the CAD environment and provide solutions to customers
Qualifications and Skills:
At least B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics
Knowledge of Virtuoso suite of tools – Schematic, Layout, Analog Design Environment etc.
Familiarity with simulation, layout, DRC/LVS/RC Extraction flows
Basic knowledge of foundry design kits is a big plus
Proficiency in one or more of the programming/scripting languages – CShell, SKILL, Python, Perl and TCL
Must be accustomed to a Linux environment
Familiarity with compute server grid systems and server load balancing software (LSF)
Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills

To develop SCADA application from design

• Understands SCADA development lifecycle
• Ability to interpret the customer requirements
• Hands on experience desirable in various SCADA platforms i.e Intelluition Ifix, Wonderware
• Hands on field experience in hardware (RTU’s,PLC’s,Controller’s,IED’s) is a plus
• Knowledgeable on Industrial communication protocols
• Generate reports using various scripting tools
• Design the Mimic, symbols and graphics as per applicable standards.
• Write the script and code modules for HMI using Visual Basic(VB)/.Net
• Data preparation using XML for HMI configuration
• Writing as built and operational manuals.

To perform software development and validation activities 

• Development of logic & control sequences for the Hardware
• Build & delivery management
• Participation in peer review for defect analysis
• Adherence to Alstom process & Quality
• Code review, configuration management, version management.
