Location: Chennai

Exp: 7-10 Years
Key Responsibilities
• Sourcing of Electrical and Electronics commodities (Motors, PCBA, Transformers, Contactors, Wiring Harness, Cables and Connectors, Switches, Power Modules, OLR etc.)
• Manage Centralized Indirect Materials procurement (Capital Goods, Factory Consumables (MRO), Logistics, Packing, Annual Maintenance Contracts etc.) to support business requirements.
• Track and Monitor Commodity trend from the global market to make smart sourcing decisions.
• Meet sourcing targets and deliverables set by Global, Regional and Site sourcing leadership team.
• Conduct Strategic Business Reviews with Key suppliers.
• Deploy Supplier Relationship Management Tools and Techniques with Key suppliers.
• Lead regional site engagement programs and support implementation phase of all savings projects.
• Implement Long Term Frame work Agreements with Strategic suppliers.
• Engage and report key supplier improvement plans and other performance driving initiatives.
• Support implementation of plant and Category led sourcing activities.
• Provide Category level support to all New Product Development projects to local and Global sites.
• Drive supplier negotiations, selection and management based on strategic sourcing process.
• Build strong relationships and ensure cross functional collaboration and stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications & Technical knowledge:
• Graduate in Engineering with Specialization in Electrical & Electronics.
• Techno Commercial experience with sound knowledge of Electrical and Electronics parts sourcing.
• Proven experience in practicing Strategic Sourcing tools.
