Job Description
Security lead will be responsible for designing, building, testing and implementing security systems within the RE IT landscape. The individual is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice on security products.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Prepare the security roadmap by assessing the current IT landscape
Get the Security and vulnerability analysis and risk assessment performed regularly.
Based on the assessment report, remediate the security issues using existing tools and technologies.4. Evaluation of available solutions in the industries to remediate the issues which can't be fixed using the existing tools and technologies. Evaluation and implementation of tools like NAC, CASB, DLP etc.5. Evaluate the SIEM tools and managed SOC offering available in the market. Prepare comparative for decision making and enrollment. 6. Implementation of tools and security platforms with the help of OEMs and Solution Integrators.7. Regular monitoring and monthly reporting of Security health with the help of fully managed or hybrid SOC.8. Prepare the Information security policy, procedure and checklists.9. Ensure the adherence to the Security Policies and checklists before any application or platform is brought into the ecosystem.10. Analyse application and Infrastructure architecture of any application/platform being brought into the ecosystem.11. Keep the security landscape up to date with regular upgrades of security systems by monitoring security environment, identifying security gaps, evaluating and implementing enhancements and based on evolving threat landscape.12. Manage EPP and EDR deployment & operations - ensuring complete coverage - AV is installed on all endpoints and servers, updating prevention policies on a regular basis, Application whitelisting/blacklisting, vulnerability monitoring and reporting.13. Get the patching done on all Endpoints and servers regularly based on the vulnerabilities detected by EPP and EDR tool, patches released by OEMs and other out of band patches. 14. Creating system security reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends15. Tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards.16. Define and document security Incident management process.17. Ensure the adherence to security Incident management process.18. In case of any security incident, immediate remedial action to be taken, regular updates to IT Leadership and management.19. Complete forensics of the incident to be performed, remedial action taken, RCA done and corrective measures to be performed.20. Regular user awareness drills, regular communication to the employees, conduct employee training.
Required Candidate profile
Experience to manage Cisco Firewalls and FMC (Firepower platform). Experience of managing EPP and EDR platform - Crowd Strike experience will be added advantage. Experience of NAC Implementation and Management. Implementation and management experience of CASB solution. Cisco ISE management and implementation experience. Citrix, F5 WAF and Load Balancer management experience Cloud Security management experience (AWS, Azure). Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability. Very good understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook.
