Job Description
CENTUM EMS : The Electronics Manufacturing Services business unit addresses high-technology high-complexity products in the defence, aerospace, industrial, medical and telecommunications segments. The offerings include Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), system integration, PCBA, test, environmental screening and repair & return services. This team also provides mechanical solutions to various requirements in the field of plastics and sheet metal for the industrial customers.


What You'll Do

Production plan based on the forecast.
Understand monthly sales forecast and plan accurate material planning to facilitate purchase department to procure the same.
Alarming the material shortage to the buyers & changing synthesis and achieve timing closure.
Planning, prioritizing & ensuring production as per plan (daily, weekly).
Planning and Driving the Internal Stake Holders to achieve Production Target.
Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specs.
Plan workflow and schedules for production departments.
Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
Check and Match sales order/forecast vs. commit before and after loaded into MRP system.
To generate full kit status to Materials Planning Manager on daily/Weekly basis.
Commit customer¢¢s MRP/Sales Orders based on full kit assumptions.
Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation plans.
Ensuring liability is properly covered with the customer contract/customer purchase order.
Work with materials department in material planning and analysis to reduce inventory level.
Has a good experience in Material Planning and Production Planning.
Track material shortages and provide immediate resolution.
Communicating ECN to CFT team & updating obsolete material value to Management.
ECN changes will be communicated to Suppliers through ODM with new drawing and connecting joint call with supplier to make them better understanding.
Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule production
To maintain customer given parts in the ERP system.
Strong ERP knowledge, Preferably BaaN.
Managing the Production Work orders Ageing and Inventory Ageing.
Publishing the Consolidated CTB file to management.
Preparing a Shortage report and driving the buyers to get the Parts as per requirement.
Analyzing and working towards the reduction of OSO vs CTB GAP
Publishing the Inside & Convertible Materials Update.
Conducting OOR review with PM and updating the reasons and Action to improve the delivery date for OTD risk models.
Follow up with Logistics, IGI & Warehouse for raw material flow to Production.
Participating in CTG status reviews.
Publishing NPI models material status and reviewing with Program Management.
Responding to internal & external customer for material status and improvements.
Providing Suggestion to program team for demand push out and pull in based on our capacity.
Publishing Committed CTB Gating parts List to Buyers for Prioritize the Shipment and payment Plan.
Publishing Self life report of raw materials with priority to planned CTB list.
Coordinating with warehouse for stock take & cycle count activities.
Conducting daily ,weekly & monthly review with Production, Warehouse and Purchase team (LISAS,LIKAS,LIPAS).
Driving Operation Meeting with all stake holders to Increase the Revenue.
Initiating & improving production capacity enhancement activity.
Implementing Lean Principles, CAPA for challenges.
Facing customer audit, ISO 9001& AS 9001 audits as auditee.
Working with Cross functional Team to achieve organization KPI¢¢s.
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and with minimum delay.
Managing workers and staff to achieve planned production numbers.
Schedule Production plan according to internal and external Customer Requirements .
AOP preparation and managing budget as per plan.
Prepare and publish MIS reports to management.
Manage and drive KPI¢¢s to meet organization goals & Customer requirements.

Required Candidate profile

Who You Are?

18-22 Years of working experience in an EMS Industry with high performance track record
Good knowledge of Production planning & Material Planning.
Good knowledge of key requirements /issues of EMS industry
He must have Knowledge of EMS Process (SMT, Box build, Wave soldering)
Good financial understanding
Preferably worked on Defence and Aerospace Products.
Preferably worked in high mix low volume manufacturing environment.

Good verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation and negotiation skills.
