Brief description :
We are looking for an experienced MongoDB Expert for an initial 3-month contract. The position has the possibility of becoming a long term and/or permanent based on performance.

Preferred skills
Develop MongoDB and API prototypes and proofs of concept.
Recommend and implement best practices for Rest API integration framework/model.
Implement appropriate indexes (B-Tree, Geospatial, Text) for performance improvement.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and build efficient and scalable solutions based on those specifications
Implement Mongo Management Service for automating a variety of tasks, including backup/recovery and performance management.
Implement optimal backup and recovery tasks, with automation.
Assist developers in detecting performance problems using MMS and Mongo Profiler.

Requirements and Qualifications: 
Previous working experience as a MongoDB Developer for a minimum of 3 years
Specialized technical knowledge of the MongoDB platform (knowing other similar NoSQL technologies could be an added advantage)
Design and development experience building a reusable REST API model/framework to consume data from and/or push data into MongoDB (Using NodeJS-Express or similar technology).
In depth knowledge of modeling/architectural patterns, governance methodologies, and potential limitations within MongoDB and other NoSQL technologies.
