Arcadis is Hiring for Design Engineer – Drainage (UK Projects) @ Bangalore

Job Title;

Design Engineer – Drainage (UK Projects).

Qualification & Experience;

Hold a Degree in Civil Engineering, with Masters in Water Resources Engineering.

Minimum 5+ years of experience required in consulting environment. 

Principal Duties & Key Responsibilities;

Minimum 5-8 years of experience.

Knowledge of WINDES and AutoCAD, Civil 3D would be helpful.

Storm water drainage, Design of Road Drainage, Elevated Highways including Interchanges/Flyovers/Underpasses.

Drainage Design knowledge/experience ideally gained on major highways/expressway schemes/Urban Drainage.

Drainage modelling knowledge/experience for Kerbs, Gullies, Pipe Networks, Linear Drainage Channels, Bean Blocks, Urban Drainage.

Proven knowledge/experience in project work on international highways projects (UK, Middle East -minimum) and US, Europe.

Ability to work within a team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will work on technical aspects for assigned projects ensuring successful delivery of technically challenging Highway Drainage schemes.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

To get self-training on required software.

To assist the Engineer/senior engineer in their day to day activities.

Understand the complete package of work and the usual process.

Help the team to deliver the project in case of strict deadlines.

Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager.
