Job Description:
Experience: 7 to 12 years
·         Experience in SW validation and executing test cases
·         Experience in configuring and operating a test environment.
·         Experience installing and configuring Microsoft Operating systems
·         Excellent problem solving skills; ability to analyze and debug issues
·         Identify the test cases to be executed from the available set of test cases provided by Intel and Other Customers
·         Knowledge of x86 PC, Familiarity of current Intel platforms will be a plus
·         High level understanding of Platform HW/SW ingredients.
·         Knowledge of various subsystems in the PC.
·         Ability to understand the product features (Power Management, Security, Multimedia, Connectivity etc.) and relate to the test case to be executed.
·         Reproduction of failures reported in required platform configurations.
·         Defect management
·         Should possess a degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering with relative development or validation experiences.
·         Good communication skills
Experience with tools like:
o Microsoft Platform ready tool - MPR
o Windows Logo Program for Hardware WHQL
o Windows Hardware Lab Kit (Windows HLK) / WHCK
o Windows Hardware Compatibility Program - WHCP
o Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK).
o Use of tools like WinDBG, Debug, PoolMon, Performance monitor
o Debug kernel installation/KD and capture trace
o Capturing crash dump
