Siddha Clinical Research Unit (SCRU) functioning under Central Council for Research in Siddha, (CCRS) Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India has proposed to engage the services of Senior Research Fellow (Botany)-1, Junior Research Fellow (Botany)-1 and Field Assistants-2 for the IMR project entitled “A survey on the ethno-medicinally important plants for common ailments in Tiruppur district, Tamil nadu”. The selection will be made on the basis of performance in Walk in Interview to be held at the office of Siddha Clinical Research Unit, Govt. Siddha Medical College Campus, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli - 627 002.

Name of the post: SRF (Botany) - 1

Age: Not exceeding 40 years


Essential Qualification: M.Sc., (Botany) with 3 years’ research experience or Ph.D. in (Taxonomy/medicinal plants/medico-ethno botanical survey are desirable)

Pay:Rs. 28,000/- p.m. + 10% HRA (consolidated)

Age: Not exceeding 30 years

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Botany) with One Year research experience (Taxonomy/Medicinal plants/Medico-Ethno botanical survey are desirable)

Pay: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + 10% HRA (consolidated)
