Title               : Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location         : Gurgaon, India        

Reports to      : Head of Department – Highways (Transportation)

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the project.
• Visit Project sites to collect required input for cost estimate.
• Will be Participating in meetings & recording the preparation of the minutes of the progress meetings.
• Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the work in the project. 
• Participate in all project review meetings.
• Responsible for finalizing the cost estimate and analysis of rates.
• Streamline all cost and quantity records.
• Advise the Project Manager on procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities.
• Evaluate the unit rates for work items and present to the management for review.
• Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues.
• Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.
• Ensure the timely submittal and completeness of project Reports.

Required Knowledge, Qualification & Skill :

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering or Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum of 10 to 12 years’ experience in preparation of BOQ for Roads and Highways Projects is a must.
• Rich exposure to IRC & IS guidelines and MORTH specifications alloy Data book / SOR.
• Knowledge of Operation & maintenance cost and Life cycle cost.
