Reports to : Head of Department – Highways (Transportation)
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the project.
- Visit Project sites to collect required input for cost estimate.
- Will be Participating in meetings & recording the preparation of the minutes of the progress meetings.
- Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the work in the project.
- Participate in all project review meetings.
- Responsible for finalizing the cost estimate and analysis of rates.
- Streamline all cost and quantity records.
- Advise the Project Manager on procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities.
- Evaluate the unit rates for work items and present to the management for review.
- Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues.
- Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.
- Ensure the timely submittal and completeness of project Reports.
Required Knowledge, Qualification & Skill :
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering or Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years’ experience in preparation of BOQ for Roads and Highways Projects is a must.
- Rich exposure to IRC & IS guidelines and MORTH specifications alloy Data book / SOR.
- Knowledge of Operation & maintenance cost and Life cycle cost.
