PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience in planning & execution of Software projects
- Knowledge of project management concepts and practical application
- Accuracy, efficiency and high quality of output in project execution, progress reporting and (budget) planning
- Knowledge / experience in projects related to Indian payment systems is a plus
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Delivery Manager is responsible for completeness and timely project delivery. He / she owns the project from project initiation till the delivery and acceptance by User / Customer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- making sure all deliverables are done on time, with the expected quality
- defining the external dependencies for deliveries and planning activities / internal deliveries accordingly
- managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the project according to the goals and objectives of the project;
- communicating the deadlines and scope to the teams, as well as any other information having an impact on their work
- ensuring the communication between the teams, both internal and external
- applying appropriate execution methodology and enforcing project standards
- ensuring customer sign-off on contracted functional and non-functional requirements;
- making sure that all project documents are complete, current and stored properly
- reporting the progress and risks to the relevant stakeholders on timely basis
- maintaining project planning, estimates and actuals for the project
- defining project activities, distribute them across the project team and follow-up the task progress with the team leads / members
- Take corrective actions where necessary to fit delivery within expectations (timing, scope & quality)
