- Conducting market research to identify potential partners and suppliers to be contracted in the assigned region & contract them to enhance product offering.
- Formulating & executing business plans from the market assigned and growing the business & relationships in the market.
- Ensure competitiveness of the Suppliers contracted by conducting price & product benchmarking on regular basis.
- Manage inventory (allocations). Audit on suppliers rates, support function and inventory allocation.
- Define inventory required for each product sub-category.
- Maintain a track of suppliers performance, perform benchmark analysis and suggest changes / additions from time to time
- Ensuring smooth function between supplier & customer, accounts, technology team on integrating, redemption & delivering the end user experience
Desired Candidate:
- 6-8 years of experience in Business Development, Market Development, Key Account Management in reputed online travel companies
- Graduate in any discipline. Candidates with MBA will be preferred, though not mandatory.
- Should be internet/mobile/tech savvy along with the knowledge of offline travel industry
- Understanding about the nuances of online travel & customer buying behaviour
- Team Management experience is preferred
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Willingness to travel extensively (about 50-60% time)
