We at SNC Lavalin are urgently hiring Draftsman and CAD Operators for our new project based in Abu Dhabi in Oil and Gas Division for the below categories

Typical duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the preparation, design, modification, coordination and review of pipeline engineering drawings as follows:
Preparing electronic drawings in AUTO CAD or microstation formats,
Follow corporate and client drafting standards/procedures,
Completing "as-built" drawing changes,
Prepare alignment sheets, route maps and typical drawings,
Reviewing and Validating survey drawings.

Formal training in AutoCAD
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Cad Operators / designer in a operating company or EPC / engineering consulting company with experience working on oil and gas projects,
Experience in 2D AutoCAD drawing development,
Knowledge /experience of 3D model development is an asset
Experience in the development of alignment sheets, typical drawings and other related drawings,
Ability to take marked up engineering drawings and incorporate changes into AutoCAD files,
Strong communication skills , both verbal and written are essential,
Experience in Microsoft Office software,
Thorough knowledge of pipeline routing and drawing development practises and experience in using design tools.
