Division or Project Summary
- We at SNC Lavalin are urgently hiring Draftsman and CAD Operators for our new project based in Abu Dhabi in Oil and Gas Division for the below categories
- Electrical Draftsman *4 nos
- Civil Draftsman *4 nos
- Instrumentation Draftsman *4 nos
- Mechanical & Piping Draftsman *4 nos

Job Description
- Typical duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the preparation, design, modification, coordination and review of pipeline engineering drawings as follows:
- Preparing electronic drawings in AUTO CAD or microstation formats,
- Follow corporate and client drafting standards/procedures,
- Completing "as-built" drawing changes,
- Prepare alignment sheets, route maps and typical drawings,
- Reviewing and Validating survey drawings.
Requirements
- Formal training in AutoCAD
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Cad Operators / designer in a operating company or EPC / engineering consulting company with experience working on oil and gas projects,
- Experience in 2D AutoCAD drawing development,
- Knowledge /experience of 3D model development is an asset
- Experience in the development of alignment sheets, typical drawings and other related drawings,
- Ability to take marked up engineering drawings and incorporate changes into AutoCAD files,
- Strong communication skills , both verbal and written are essential,
- Experience in Microsoft Office software,
- Thorough knowledge of pipeline routing and drawing development practises and experience in using design tools.
