Job Summary
- To be responsible for day to day IT support for users whether onsite or remote for first level support for desktops, laptops as well as network, hardware and software
- To coordinate and provide support on various IT infrastructure and support facilities inside AECOM
- To install, maintain and troubleshoot server hardware, network devices and software.
- To perform daily backups for onsite/offsite storage
- To manage user accounts (i.e. emails and folder permission)
- To coordinate with 24x7 Global Helpdesk to ensure appropriate monitoring and handling of computer system issues and responds to escalations, tickets and alerts from Helpdesk
- To assists users with applications and operating system problems.
- To perform maintenance of desktop PCs and printers
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to write/speak well in English.
- Must be highly independent and be able to extend working hours when required
- Must have the drive to and achieve and learn continuously
- Should have 3-5 years of experience in the same field
- Good hands on knowledge on Windows Servers, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, DC
- Windows Networking, Windows Desktops, MS Office applications.
- Knowledge in trouble shooting AutoCAD/Bentley/Revit applications used in design and engineering
- Good hands on experience on Windows Server 2012 / 2008
- Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V Environment
- Knowledge of VMware Vsphere 5.1 above will be added advantage
- Minimum Graduate or BTech in computer science with certification in MCSE 2008 or 2012 is must and CCNA is a plus.
