Senior Technologist - Bio Chemistry
Description:
To load reagents in the chemistry and immunoassay auto analyzers under the guidance of technical supervisor.
To receive blood and urine samples 24 hours (routine, immunochemistry, special and toxicology), perform all the tests within the turnaround time and inform the critical values to the doctor or concerned person within 15 minutes.
To do point of care tests.
To perform special tests and toxicology tests.
To participate in the departmental quality initiatives, intra lab and external QC programmes, run and monitor QC and prepare L-J charts.
To maintain turnaround time.
To support in data collection.
To be responsible for the preparation of reagents and checking its quality.
To participate in training programmes and update knowledge and skills continuously.
To report errors in QC or tests performed in the lab to technical officer.
To abide by the safety norms of the hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules.
To attend all duty shifts according to technical officer’s instruction.
