Job Description
LatentView is looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team of technical experts. The hire will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling, processing and analysing huge sets of data. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing our data architecture to support our client’s future data platform built on a cloud-based ecosystem
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data pipelines (realtime and batch), with a focus on writing scalable, clean, and fault-tolerant code
Maintain various data stores and distributed systems, and help optimize data structures for efficient querying
of those systems
Design and build front-end systems to allow business users to more easily access the data we collect
Collaborate with data science on implementing machine learning algorithms to enable cross-brand
personalization and engagement initiatives
To build Serverless, Scalable and cost-efficient application for visualizing the data
Devise a strategy for data migration activities to migrate data from legacy system to Amazon Redshift
Construct data orchestration to foster the streaming data using Streaming Technology and build real-time
dashboard
An excellent communicator, especially when it comes to explaining technical approaches and solutions to
business-oriented stakeholders
Requirements:
5+ years of experience is preferred
Hands-on Developers in Advanced Python, Advanced Node. js , Go, Scala, Angular JS, HTML, CSS (Any)
Sound SQL basics
Decent exposure to ML concepts
Hands-on exposure to Hive, Spark, Kafka
Hands-on experience on AWS, Azure or GCP (Certification would be a plus)
Exposure to CI / CD frameworks preferred
Exposure to containerization concepts an added plus
Exposure to Test Driven Development, Deployment best practices preferred
Exposure to GIT
Good to have: Ability to put together presentations & write blogs
