Detailed JD:

Strong Layer2/3 protocol developers with eagerness to innovate and thrive in a fast paced work environment. Candidate will design, develop and maintain high performance protocol modules.

Requirements:
•    Knowledge in any of the following areas:
o    L2/L3 protocols
    LACP, STP, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, Multicast (PIM-SSM, PIM-SM, IGMP, MLD), VxLAN, EVPN, L3VPN
o    Ethernet, IP and MPLS packet forwarding.
o    Linux Internals, Multithread Programming, Algorithms, and Computer Architecture.
•    Strong design and development experience using C, C++ (Go or Python is a plus)
•    Strong debugging & problem solving skills.
•    Experience developing software for high-end routing platforms is desirable.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:
•    A minimum of MSEE/ MSCS with 4 years or BSEE/ BSCS with 6 years of related experience is required.
•    Design and development experience with at least one programming language.
•    Prefer to have experience with developing a protocol module from scratch.
•    Ability to debug an issue systemwide (from applications to protocol modules to forwarding plane).
•    Ability to work independently.
