FIELD IT ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring and support of hardware, software and networks at customer sites

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
3+ years of IT operations / Systems administration
Experience in Windows and Linux administration
Experience in network design and configuration, support and maintenance - including switches, routers, PoE switch/extender, fibre optic switches, firewalls, VPNs
Experience in shell scripting
Experience in automation tools for backup and recovery
Strong initiative, self-starter, quick learner, proactive contributor

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS
Programming experience
Prior experience as a field IT engineer
Experience in Cloud and DevOps tools
Experience in storage device administration
Docker and Kubernetes
