Job description
Job Purpose
- The job will be a support function to the Property team in the preparation of working drawings.
- The job holder must be able to both understand and interpret sketch drawings that are produced from the Designers, Architects and Brand Management.
- The Job Holder would be expected to produce detailed drawings that are issued to fit-out contractor.
Working Relationships
Main Internal Relationships:
- Candidate would be expected to form close working relationship with the Design Manager, Designers, Project Manager and the Property team to achieve project targets.
Main External Relationships:
- Candidate would be expected to interact with Costa MENA, external designers and project managers and/or nominated contracting parties to clarify or amend detailed drawings produced.
Key Position Accountabilities
- The job holder is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
- Work closely with the Design Manager and design team to prepare the full Working Project Drawings packs in an accurate a timely manner, working in a flexible manner in order to improve team work
- Travel to the job site to make accurate site measurements to ensure that the drawing are as accurate as possible
- Work with Photoshop editing programs and Google sketch-up where necessary for the best editing possible
- Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager.
Selection Criteria
- Efficient and familiar working in AutoCAD
- Have GCC work experience of at least 3 years
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and / or other related software
- Knowledge of Google Sketch-up and its implementation
- At least 3 years’ experience as an AutoCAD operator
- With educational background in Architecture and Design
- Experience in retail shops and F&B designs
- Expert in 3D visualization and auto-cad drafting
- Prepare, review and evaluate technical drawings
- Able to work independently
- Knowledge of Autodesk 3D max is an advantage
- Knowledge of Revit is an advantage
- UAE license is a plus
