Overview
We are looking for strong candidates who will help develop our BDR solution as a reliable, scalable, modern architecture that supports long term growth and reduces operational and support costs. The candidate will engage with the product management and provide technical leadership as part a team of engineers for implementation and roll out of various modules.
The ideal person for this role will have a passion for shipping elegant, innovative, and scalable products. This position demands strong technical leadership, ability to collaborate with globally distributed product teams, and the guts and vision to produce something really extraordinary.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Management and User Experience Design teams to understand business requirements and design appropriate solutions
Deliver quality code on an aggressive schedule
The ideal candidate will provide a mix of maintenance and support while also contributing to new feature development of our backup and disaster recovery product solutions.
We are looking for well rounded, full stack developers with curious minds who enjoy contributing in a smaller start-up environment
Qualifications
Required Skills
4+ years hands-on product development experience, preferably with commercial off the shelf software.
Experience in strong customer focus to provide support of our cloud based backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Experience in web based UI technologies and frameworks.
Experience in Java, C++, C# & Linux
Experience in writing/integrating with REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience working with embedded relational databases, HQL, H2, Derby, and/or SQLite.
Experience in troubleshooting/debugging.
Experience working with technical support and customers.
Experience in Cloud computing; good knowledge around AWS/SoftLayer
Excellent knowledge of different
Good understanding of SDN
