Job Title: Risk & Safety Engineer
Entity: Bureau Veritas India Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Mumbai, HO
Reports to (job): General Manager – Technical Centre, India
Purpose of Position
Responsible for managing Technical Performance and business in the area of Risk &
Safety, Design Review – Safety.
The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System,
including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy
Major Responsibilities
Achieve set objectives (technical, commercial and personal) as per business plan.
Review of Risk & Safety services and compliance referring to international standards
Preparation of tenders including but not limited to the scope of work.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders( clients, manufacturers,
The business development team, Areas Managers, Business Line Managers, Project
Managers);
Inspection and audit for Certification of Onshore/Offshore Installations and Verification
of safety-critical equipment/systems
Carrying out independent analysis, if required.
Qualification and Experience
Graduate Engineer (Preferably Chemical) with min. 05 years of experience in Risk
and safety engineering.
Skills & Qualities:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Should have good leadership abilities and skills.
Should have a pleasing personality
Good communication and presentation skills.
