Application Specialist - MotionSolve

Application Specialist” position comprising Technical activities like

Work with Development and Program Manager(s) in building realistic funtional models, Test models, Test plans across different verticals like Auto, Heavy Engg, RAIL, Industrial M/C etc.
Test & Validate Builds, raise Product Issues
Ensure the Quality of MotionSolve
Work with peers in geographically distributed Altair Engineering teams to facilitate smooth functioning of product
Benchmarking
Guide the Software Development team on the domain aspects
Work with Documentation/Program Management/Development team(s) in the preparation of Documentation, Tutorials and Examples, Product presentation/demonstrations

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree/Masters Degree/Ph.D. in Mechanical, Automobile, Design Engineering, Vehicle dynamics or other relevant field
5+ years of experience in any Multibody dynamics software like MotionSolve, Adams, SIMPACK, Recurdyn, LMS VirtualMotion
Good trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills on Multibody dynamics model
Strong communication skills (verbal/written) - the ability to articulate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences (Developers, Program Managers, Application Engineers, etc)
Exposure to Scripting (Python, Matlab or other similar script language), Programming (C, C++ or other similar language)
Knowledge of CAD, FEA, CFD, NVH, Multiphysics will be added advantage
Experience in OEM or Tier 1 Company would be an added advantagev
