Position: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Apprentice
Location: Hybrid (Remote and In-Office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for new and existing software.
- Collaborate with development teams to design efficient testing strategies.
- Perform manual testing for scenarios that cannot be automated and report bugs.
- Troubleshoot performance issues in applications and contribute to test framework development.
- Engage in learning sessions to enhance your technical and testing skills.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (2024 pass-out only).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git) is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
