Mechanical Design Engineer

Searching for Mechanical Design Engineer – Battery pack & Components (Lithium battery manufacturing client based at Western Location)

Qualification – BE –Mechanical Engineering, Post-Graduation a plus.

Responsibilities
• From concept to production launch and ramp, you are in charge of the whole product design. Complex part and assembly design in 3D
• Increasing product performance while lowering costs and mass.
• New technology development aided by early process development
• Improvements to established products that are never-ending
• Hands-on experience of Prototyping.
• Defining Specifications (dimensional, functional, performance, manufacturing)
• Release of 2D part and assembly drawings, Meticulously.
• Owning and supporting basic testing and analysis
• Root cause analysis of test failures and production problems
• Travel to support production launch and ramp (supplier visits, on-site at Customer factories, etc.)
• Experience in designing for high volume assembly, both manual and automated
• Experience defining test plans, designing test setups, and analyzing data
• Proficiency in CAD modeling Solid Works experience a plus but not mandatory.
