Exp: 3+ yrsWL: Bangalore
· Hands on Experience in Strategic Sourcing/SCM of Electronic components, Electromechanical & Electromagnetic Components and Mechanical Commodity from India/Abroad.
· Person will be responsible for ensuring suppliers base with optimized cost, quality & delivery.
· Liaise with Sales & Component Engineer; provide solutions to supplier problems and escalations.
· Oversee production start and ramp up. Ensure safe product launch.
· Manage end of life (EOL), Last Time buy (LTB) minimize E & O.
· Validate Supplier Performance.
· Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. consolidation of suppliers, MOQ Management, ABC based costing).
· Define, develop and make effective use of cost analysis tools.
· Provide feedback to staff on cost and cost trends.
· Plan & develop measures to maintain price levels with suppliers.
· Qualify suppliers & ensure right supplier base based on program needs.
· Management of material reviews in NPI and Execution phases.
