SUMMARY
The Application Engineer is responsible for providing world-class assistance to customers in the usage of Semiconductor BU products. Learn and Apply knowledge in the areas of SoC Physical design, Custom circuit analysis, Power-integrity and Reliability sign-off, Timing and Noise analysis with various CAD tools to help customers solve complex problems on leading edge System-on-Chips.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Support / Proliferation
•Learn & apply knowledge in the areas of SoC Physical Design, Power-integrity and Reliability Sign-off, to help customers solve complex problems on leading edge System-on-Chips.
•Support one or more strategic customers on Semiconductor BU solutions such as RedHawk-Seascape, PathFX, CPS, etc.
•Promote and deploy new state-of-the-art solutions to address 7/5/4 nm challenges.
•Work on product evaluations and benchmarks for prospective customers.
Product Engineering
• Leverage knowledge gained from customer workflows to drive product development spec.
• Perform in-depth validation to ensure the new solution meets the requirements.
•Work with advanced customers to develop early proof-points and successful deployments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•BE / ME from Top Institutes (IITs / NITs / equivalent) in Electronics Engineering / VLSI
•0-3 years experience in the areas of SoC Physical Design / Power-integrity and Reliability Sign-off
•Strong Problem Solving Skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Domain knowledge in the areas of SoC Physical Design, Power-integrity and Reliability Sign-off, Circuit Simulation
