Key Responsibilities:
Lead the team in the appointed vertical (Banking & Wealth, or Property, or FMCG, or Retail) to deliver analytical solutions that meet Quantium quality standards and support the global Quantium business (primarily Australia)
Lead the appointed team to deliver projects on time and on budget including resourcing of project teams
Talent recruitment, development and management of the Quantium India Analytics function: recruit, develop and manage a high performing team to deliver outstanding client value. Work with the broader business to support activities to attract and develop the talent we function
To build, lead and manage a high performing team of analytics and technical people of the size and quality required to support the global Quantium business and to improve the overall technical capability of the India office
Lead pro-active innovation for the appointed vertical in India
To be a technical and commercial subject matter expert for all large scale engagements in the appointed vertical for India
To build strong relationships with, and become a trusted advisor of Australian stakeholders and more broadly, the global business
To work with other members of the Indian management team to build a culture in the Hyderabad office aligned with the global Quantium culture
Key activities:
Work with Executive Managers and other key stakeholders to develop and implement a strategy and associated roadmap for the appointed vertical in India
Work with project teams to design and develop solutions to address business and client needs
Proactively identify challenges faced by project teams and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure delivery is not impacted
Champion analytics best practice to ensure quality objectives are met for all projects delivered by the India team
Oversee project delivery to ensure projects are on time and on budget
Understand projects from a deep technical perspective and appreciate the teams' perspective in guiding them as a technical engineering leader
Partner with key stakeholders in a collaborative manner to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with wider organisational policies
Develop and implement reporting to track and measure project and team performance metrics
Guide team leads or senior analytics to come up with an accurate estimate of work effort, timeframes for deliverables
Manage R&D workstreams to develop new solutions
Work with Executive Managers and other key stakeholders to develop and implement a workforce plan for the India teams
Work with the Indian recruiting team to attract and recruit high performing staff and support the global business with recruitment efforts where required
Monitor staff performance providing regular feedback, coaching and determine strategies to help improve performance. Address issues promptly
Develop and manage staff performance including setting objectives and KPIs, career mentoring, career path development and execution of annual/bi-annual reviews
Work to motivate and engage the India teams to ensure high job satisfaction, low attrition and meaningful career progression
Work with Australian leaders to set clear performance standards for analytics at different levels
Develop and implement a plan to grow capability within the India team to achieve identified capability standards
Lead and drive continuous improvement across the India team
Instil a passion for and commercial understanding within the team
Develop trusted advisor relationships with Australian stakeholders and more broadly, the global business
Contribute to sharing technical knowledge and experience across projects in India
