KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary (Role Summary)
The incumbent will be a part of the Global Accounting and Analytics team. This position will primarily support the accounting and analytics function and will be responsible for ensuring seamless process delivery. The job would entail one or more of the following activities like accounting support for generation of journal processing, reconciliations, monthly reports, audit support/ Business Support queries, etc
This position will be required to support various accounting and reporting initiatives undertaken from time to time and accordingly, the job role may undergo a change, to align with those initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities, maximum of 5 activities)
Journal preparation and processing as per IHG policy
Preparation of General Ledger Reconciliations
Preparation of Schedule and Trends
Revenue and Expense Allocations
Provide audit support

Qualification and Experience
B.Com with 1+ years of experience including Finalization of Accounts, General Ledger Accounting possessing and Good Analytical skills.
Basic Accounting knowledge and the ability to apply them to the company's accounting practices.
Basic knowledge of relevant Systems and applications used in accounting function like PeopleSoft and/ or Essbase. Conversant with MS Office
General awareness of the business necessary to perform process activities.
Understanding of the key policies impacting the process.
Application of basic checks and balances to perform tasks timely and accurately
