Job Description:
We are seeking a highly talented technical Program Manager as part of a global manufacturing test engineering group.
The job candidate will be responsible for managing the design, implementation and deployment of manufacturing test solutions for CommScope CPE products.
The successful candidate will combine project management, engineering and production skills with the motivation and drive to deliver test engineering projects to completion

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and leading single or multiple internal/external manufacturing test projects from concept to release & support
 Act as the primary point of contact between the manufacturing test team, factory and wider engineering organization for the project
Conduct analysis of manufacturing test metrics (including yield, root cause analysis, CPK) and triage of issues to the engineering team
Project planning, deliverables definition, budget and reporting

Skills/Experience
Required
Strong team leadership skills, being able to motivate and manage both internal and external engineering teams of software and hardware engineers
In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and the test process flow for mid to high volume electronics manufacture.
Understand of different automated testing methodologies, being able to evaluate the pros and cons of various test methods
Be an effective project planner, able to break down a project into a clear set of tasks, agree with a plan for achieving these, track progress and escalate issues as appropriate
Knowledge of different manufacturing testing methodologies, being able to evaluate the pros and cons of various test methods (eg automated vs subjective testing, parametric test requirements etc.)
Ability to define, maintain and deliver to a budget

Desirable
Experience of automated test development on set-top box products, including audio/video, Wi-Fi, DVB-C/DVB-S
Test automation development, using common programming languages (C#) and/or test packages such as National Instruments Teststand
Track record in JDM and outsource project management, including offshore engineering partners
On-site experience of NPI (New Product Introduction) within a factory

Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent level qualification
Fluent English speaker/writer
Project management training desirable (eg PMP certification, Prince 2 practitioner)
