Sr Eng Software Engn (Release Engineer) | GLOBALFOUNDRIES Engineering Private Limited

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional work experience is required.
Experience with the specific tools in the technology stack (or equivalents) is preferred.
Ability to build APIs, automation scripts, build, deployment, monitoring scripts, and debugging/troubleshooting is required.
Strong expertise in the core technologies being used in the relevant track.
Managing and administering CM toolsets (user access , license administration , defect tracking , etc)
Administer of source control , establishment and merging of code branches by release and / or project Establishing test environments for Development , QA , Security , and Performance Testing Monitor , record and control change in order to maintain product integrity.
Maintaining a CM plan , including tracking of configuration items Building and packaging of software for release.
Participate in project teams and attend project meetings as required.
Establish and maintain strong communication with management through consistent status reporting , and meetings both informal and formal.
Experience using/managing test case and defect tracking tools and reporting functionalities.
Experience in core Java / C#/ C++ and OOO concepts
Experience with Linux/Unix operating system
Understanding of relational databases (like Oracle/SQL server) and SQL queries
Broad knowledge of software development methodologies, project management using waterfall, Agile, lean development methodologies.
Must be analytical, detailed, and team oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detect software quality issues, report, track them to resolution and be able to do troubleshooting to identify root cause in a faster manner.
Experience in semiconductor industry is an added plus.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
2+ years’ experience in Build and Deployment activities.
1+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance, tool, techniques, and process.
1-2 years of coding experience with the ability to understand architecture and design.
