We are looking for a Content Associate in Stickers Team for Bengali. Stickers are one of the most loved features of Hike. Hike offers a library of highly local 20000 stickers in 40+ languages.  Multiple genres are covered across 550+ sticker packs which highlight the colorful, cultural landscape of India, Bollywood, comedy, festivals, cricket, kabaddi, local catchphrases, emotions, and even excuses. Stickers are expressive and a great way to say what you feel. Hike’s most popular stickers reflect love, laughter and fun. Over 300 million stickers are exchanged every day!

Roles & Responsibilities:
Research, analyse & leverage conversational phrases and content trends in Bengal
Maintaining event calendars (festivals, movie releases etc) for their region
Managing a team of sticker moderators who would be working remotely and reviewing their work
Tagging/verifying the tags on each sticker
Coordinate with product team for app screen translations
Ideation for new stickers
Responsible for overall quality of stickers and translations in the app for their respective language

Skills/Qualifications:
Graduate/ Post Graduate with a strong interest in content and internet
Good understanding of social media & content platforms
Flexible in a fast-paced, rapidly growing startup environment
Should have good knowledge of Current Affairs in Bengal (Politics, Movie Industry and Pop culture)
Strong command (written & verbal) over the language & culture of Bengal
Should be extremely fluent in written and spoken Bengali and its variations
Should have a good understanding of Telugu/Gujarati social media as well as serious and non-serious
online Bengali content
Entrepreneurial spirit and analytical aptitude
