Job responsibilities:
Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements.Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements.Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security.Responsible for the detailed technical design of Demandware implementations for our clients.


To ensure that functional requirements and high level solution designs are understood and are translated into detailed technical design for Demandware specific components.
Identifying the customizations needed to Demandware platform for meeting client requirements are creating the technical design.
Communicating the technical design to the Demandware developers and helping and guiding them in the implementation.
Mentor Demandware developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills.
Liaise closely with eCommerce BA and Solution Architect to create a comprehensive technical design.
Participate in Agile sprints and help developers understand the strengths and limitations of Demandware and provide technical help if needed.
Support the clients in developing their strategic roadmap to identify opportunities for improved business performance and to extract maximum value from investments.

Must have 7+ years of exp in Demandware designing, architecting and building eCommerce solutions ORA minimum of 8 years IT experience of which at least past 2 years shall be as Demandware Technical Architect with strong involvement engineering/development teamsMust have Exp in technologies like XML, HTML,HTML5, XHTML,CSS,AJAX / jQuery,Regex / JSON object definition, PHP / Java / OOP, Demandware Script, ISML, Adv JavaScript architectures, Web ServicesMust have Software package expertise in: SVN, GIT, Eclipse, IE, Firefox and Chrome Browsers PC, Safari, Chrome, and Firefox Browsers MacMust have Conversant in SFCC Front end and backend skills and solid understanding of W3C and Accessibility guidelinesMust have Exp in full lifecycle software development processes and methods Must have Ability to thoroughly unit test and deliver, articulate a vision of the total solution and work quickly with accuracyStrong understanding of OOP practices, background in Model-view-controller and Exp with project automation technology: Jenkins, Continuum, Hudson, automated unit testing, Maven, Ant Good to have Demonstrated mentoring and coaching capabilities
