Job Responsibilities
Provide expertise, design, engineering, troubleshooting of the cloud environment, collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cloud computing best practices are followed and applied.
Develop the cloud computing strategy, cloud suitability assessment, and 3-5 year cloud computing plan for an environment that is comprised of programs that are safety critical. Architect/design and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
Interact effectively with CTO/ IT Head, engineering managers/ vendors to drive an optimized solution under known constraints.
Mentor the team to adopt development and QA processes or best practices for cloud computing. Provide innovative idea or direction to product. (High RMA, security, and performance levels) and as well as administrative and support.
Support the front line defence of networks, protecting information from unauthorised access and violations. Analyse and assess potential security risks, developing plans to deal with such incidents by putting measures in place such as firewalls and encryption, monitoring and auditing systems for abnormal activity, and executing corrective actions.
Preparation of technical reports from time to time.
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems; Provide Risk Assessment to the Management
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time and Audit systems and assess their outcomes
Develop standards for procedures, security, and hardware. Acts in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
Manage team/staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
Assess new opportunities, prepare proposals and flag potential issues.
Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Oversee all phases of project from conception to completion. Prepare and provide project charters and variance reports to CTO/IT Head
Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design and implement secure solutions to meet client needs while protecting the companys data & assets
