Urgent hiring for STATIC EQUIPMENT ENGINEER Location: Chennai Job type : 6 Months Extendable Contract Exp : 6+ years Qualification:B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical Job Description: Preparation of Mechanical Data sheet of Pressure Vessel, Columns, Heat Exchanger, Tanks, Boilers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers etc Support and Guide drafting team to prepare equipment General Arrangement Drawings of Static Equipment like Pressure Vessels, Columns, S&T Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks etc. Carrying out vendor offer review, Technical Query (TQ) and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) report preparation. Checking and reviewing of Vendor Documents like Bill of material, Assembly, and fabrication drawings, Calculation Reports. Able to interface with other disciplines for carrying out activities related to static equipment engineering. Good Verbal and Written communication skills Experience on process packages with major static equipment requirement e.g. Dryer package, N2 Generation package etc. preferred. Should have good knowledge of major industry codes and standards like e.g. ASME, API, TEMA etc. applicable to Static Equipment.
