Tool Designer Education Qualification: Diploma/ post Diploma in Tool Engineering from NTTF /GTTC /CITD. Experience: 5 – 7 years’ work experience in Tool Design and Manufacturing area. Skills Required: • Generate Concept of Jigs & Fixtures • Knowledge on Types & Methods of Welding • Good working Knowledge on GD & T • Working Knowledge on different International facility standards related to Tool design with Heavy Fab structures • Knowledge on Design for Manufacturing • Knowledge on Tool Matls & Heat Treatment process • Knowledge on Design validation process • Implementing Lean tools (LPS) in manufacturing lines. (Proofing/Poka Yoke, Kaizen, Kanban, 5 why’s, SMED, TPM/OEE, 5S, PDCA).
