Responsibilities
· Programming of audio features and tools via C or C++
· Develop new algorithms and maintain existent algorithms for audio measurement and analysis.
· Design and development of highly scalable and reliable backend applications
· Optimization of audio data processing to achieve high performance and stability
· Test driven development, experienced in automated unit testing and integration testing
· Dataflow programming of audio signal, creating audio signal flows and panels based on a proprietary environments
· Support the definition of requirements and the translation of measurements specific user stories into the correct SW functions
· Handling and creation of tickets within a scrum environment (JIRA)
· Create detailed technical documentation
· Cross collaboration with a global team
Required Skills/
Desired characteristics:
· Degree in Acoustic or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
· Good optimization skills on embedded architecture
· Minimum 5 years of hands on experience on embedded platform
· Hands on experience on TI or Sharc DSPs
· Preferable to have hands on experience using assembly languages
· Knowledge of audio gained from both a good academic foundation and via practical application and experience preferred
· An excellent knowledge of Python
· Strong knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns
· Design and development of highly scalable and reliable backend application in a multithread environment
· Very good knowledge in digital signal processing, especially in audio processing
· Familiar with PortAudio library and VST development is a plus
· Very good interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to work independently, flexible and the desire for continuous learning
· Familiar with agile and scrum based development methods
· Highly self-motivated, passionate about audio and music
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
· Fluent in English
